This closing track from “Travis On His Own” is a popular favorite from the singers pen to conclude many a show by his folk colleagues.  The warm wishes for all exemplify Travis Edmonson's very own philosophy of life.




POOR BOY

Another Gateway Singers number, later recorded on the  Bud and Travis “Spotlight” album, but with somewhat different lyrics, this story song about a case of self-defense which netted a murder sentence, has a widespread appeal.  The B&T version was also released as a single, having a much more commercial, pop sound to it.
