News about Travis Edmonson in 2004

Travis Edmonson was on stage again in the month of  March with two performances at the 15th Annual Phoenix Folk Traditions Music Festival.

Viewers in the Tucson area (as well as the wider internet community) got a chance to see him regularly when he took on duties as co-host of the popular chat show “Valley Views” with producer Sue Sandburg.  Among the many musical guests he brought to the show were Dolan Ellis, Tim Wiedenkeller and daughter Ellen Edmonson Murphy.

Mid year saw the release of Folk Era's latest Travis Edmonson CD, “The Bud & Travis Latin Album.”

The year also included numerous personal appearances at a variety of performances, including those of The Kingston Trio, son Steve Edmonson and Dolan Ellis.

Unfortunately, in December, Travis Edmonson suffered a serious illness which caused him to go on oxygen full time, but he bounded back to do his television show  as soon as the doctor allowed him out of bed.
